Things have been very busy around here and I haven’t had much time for writing. I recently got a new job. It has been a long, long haul trying to find a job where I felt I belonged. Gone are the days of just working somewhere, because I needed the paycheck. I have grown to realize that my workplace needs to be almost an extension of myself, with people who are like minded and where we all feel appreciated. A pipe dream you say? It doesn’t exist, you say? Well it is still early, but everything is lining up and pointing in that direction. It has been over a year, since I moved 3 hours from my family. The struggle to find work has been a difficult one. I did find a job that was o.k. but I never really felt like it was the place for me to be. I stayed until I found something that spoke to me and more suited to my personality and skills. I feel excited for what the future holds for me here.
I am not as consistent as I would like to be with my blog, but I do enjoy writing for you and I get so excited when I can see someone has read one of my posts. Thank you all, for supporting me by reading my blog posts and for following me on Facebook and/or Twitter. I am truly grateful. My blog has reached so many continents, Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and of course, North America. I am humbled to know that so many people are enjoying what I have to say. I would love to see some of you leave a comment once in a while and let me know what you are thinking. I hope to have a more consistent schedule for posting in the New Year.
As we say good-bye to 2015 and welcome a bright and promising 2016, I am excited and hopeful that this is going to be my year. A time for me to pay down debts and work toward my goals and dreams.
Whatever your goals and dreams for this up and coming Year, I wish you and your families, above all else, health and happiness. May everything you do, be lined with joy, love and kindness. All the best to you and yours.
Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year
